WORCESTER, MA - February 2, 2022 - On hiatus since March 2020, the popular stART on the Street festival plans to resume hosting events in 2022. The time off has allowed festival organizers to reevaluate the festival’s operations, and when stART returns, it will be as a program of the nonprofit arts organization Creative Hub Worcester.
Worcester, MA, November 27, 2017 -- On the heels of the successful 15th anniversary festival of stART on the Street this September, stART at the Station will return on Sunday, December 3rd with an additional element featured in stART’s fall events.
“In our continued celebration of our 15th anniversary we are adding a dedicated performance space we are calling the ‘stART Lounge’,” explained stART Co-Director and Co-Founder Tina Zlody. “We will host a variety of performances ranging from belly dancers and hip hop to jazz, acoustic and choral.”
WORCESTER, MA, September 11, 2017 -- stART on the Street returns to Park Ave on Sunday, September 17, 2017. The festival will fill Park Avenue from Highland Street to Pleasant Street with over 300 artists and crafters, 3 stages of live music, street performers, over 30 dining options including a food trucks and a vegan food court, local non-profits, art demonstrations, and activities for guests of all ages.

WORCESTER, MA September 16, 2016 – For the second time in 14 years and more than 30 events, rainy forecasts have convinced stART coordinators to postpone stART on the Street’s Park Avenue festival to Sunday, September 25th. “We usually get lucky,” said stART Director Tina Zlody, “but ultimately we need to use the tools at our disposal to make sure the public, the performers, and the artists have a safe and fun day.” This is the first time Worcester’s largest arts and music festival has used a rain date for its September festival.
WORCESTER, MA September 12, 2016 – After hundreds of planning hours in the last nine months, the volunteers behind Worcester’s largest arts, music and cultural festival stART on the Street are excited to bring the annual festival back to Worcester’s Park Ave Sunday, September 18th from 11am-6pm.
In addition to handmade wares from over 300 artists, Park Avenue will be host to three stages of live music, activities for all ages, street performers, and community groups from all around Worcester.
