The Gravestone Girls create historic cemetery art using the beautiful and primitive carved images from the faces of old Colonial New England tombstones. Our creations include wall hangings (indoors or out!), magnets, coat racks, candle holders, jewelry, t-shirts, framed foil impressions, concrete garden stones and much more! Each piece is handmade and one of a kind. All contain images originally created over 200 years ago! We also teach gravestone rubbing classes, do special commission projects and give public presentations on art, history and symbolism of old gravestones and cemeteries.
