My focus is to make unique yet simple designs. The use of different objects and mediums with the glass is the foundation of my work. I like to try new ideas and experiment with designs. I strive to make a variety of shapes and sizes, with the hope that everyone can enjoy my art. The process I use is the copper foil method of stained glass. The glass is cut, ground to smooth the edges and hand wrapped in copper foil. These foiled pieces are then placed into the design and soldered. To finish, the piece is washed in patina and cleaned. About fifteen years ago, I started making stained glass as part of physical therapy. Through much trial and error I taught myself how to make stained glass. Today having fully recovered from those injuries I’m still “in therapy” and have turned my much loved pastime into a small business.
