I work with B/W monochromatic or infrared 120 film, trying to present a simple image to the viewer. My three-dimensional work represents landscape photographs of coastal scenes, printed onto shells, stones, and glass. I find the quartz beachstones and shells along the coast. I make some glass pieces by glassblowing; others by a hot cast glass process. Photopendants are made of sterling silver with a dichroic transparent film in back of the glass photograph to scatter light. I'm a scientist by training, and have studied at the Worcester Center for Crafts, Maine Media Workshops. Several galleries in Maine sell my work.
