I’m a painter and sculptor and divide my time between the two. My paintings reflect my fascination with the beauty, complexity and spirit in every day things, situations and people. And the most current body of work is my stained glass line which includes functional and decorative objects. As with my painting, my glass pieces are designed and created with a combination of planning, spontaneity and humor. I use the copper-foil technique and my stained glass studio is completely lead-free. The organic shapes I create are formed with glass, metal and found objects. And I see a strong connection between my current body of work and the large-scale, welded sculptures I did 20 years ago in which I explored abstractions of the figure and nature. I have been exhibiting publicly for over 17 years and I’m a graduate of Brandeis University. My paintings, sculptures and jewelry can be seen at art exhibits, retail shops and galleries throughout New England.
